Focus must now be on the SAARC nations and India&#39;s extended neighbourhood including Central Asia and the ASEAN. Foriegn Policy of a nation flows out of the Strategic national Security Concern and the the other way around. We need more specialists and think tanks to assist the Govt in formulation of our foriegn policy. A National Security University may be the first step in the direction.
